The End of an Era

B, M and I attended T’s funeral this afternoon. We met T and his late wife B in 2015 when we moved to Norfolk. They were our very quiet, reserved next door neighbours. We helped them out from time to time and when B died 3 years ago we helped T a little more, especially doing his food shopping for him. Sadly, he died a few weeks ago and today we looked back on his life. His two lovely nieces and their husbands invited us to have tea with them afterwards and showed us their wedding album, What a lovely couple they were, this photo was taken in 1957.
