Pretty in Pink

Very windy today. Ollie and I went up through our neighbours' wood so I could hear the wind in the trees. The floor is carpeted with beautiful spring flowers, including this pink purslane.

Spent all afternoon putting out books for the Big Book Sale tomorrow. Held in the village hall to raise much needed funds to keep it open, you have never seen so many books! Interesting to see dozens of copies of books by some authors and none by others - didn't realise quite how many books Maeve Binchy seems to have written!
