IT'S SILLY SATURDAY

There's nothing particularly silly happening here today....just more snow. But I recall something unexpected a few years ago as we were driving along the Pacific Coast Highway in California on our way to Monterey Bay.
~
It seems there was a marathon being run along the highway (yes...all 26 miles of it) and the traffic was backed up for miles as we were slaves to the slowest runner in the pack.  So we stopped many many times and just took in the scenery as we waited.
~
At one of these stops we were greeted by a group of Volunteer Firefighters/EMTs working the event and on one of the pull offs there was a firefighter playing a grand piano....and he was VERY good.
~
It was pretty silly....a grand piano in the middle of PC-1 being played by a fireman.  But it was thoroughly enjoyable and it surely eased the tension of the drivers who had to be places and there was no way to get off the highway.....except straight up a 500 foot high cliff.
