Unbelievable

Blipfoto tells me that this is Blip 3650 - 10 years of Blips! Unbelievable! Thought I'd struggle to reach 365.
Many thanks to the Blipfoto team and all those behind the scenes who keep Blipfoto going, and a big thank you to everyone who stops by, and to those who kindly give stars and hearts.

The miniature daffs and the other flowers in the 'yard make it look quite Spring-like, even though it feels like winter.  But this isn't quite the Blip I'd hoped for today.

As we finished breakfast the phone rang. It was Jacqui who wasn't feeling well, and wondered if I'd walk Fletch, her chihuahua. No problem, and I walked round to her house. It soon became apparent that Jaqui was feeling much worse that she'd implied on the phone, and it didn't take much persuasion to let me phone 111. Took a while to get through, and it was arranged for a medic to call her back for a proper assessment. Fed Fletch, took him for his walk, and did a couple of chores for Jacqui, before heading home to tackle a couple of jobs there. Meanwhile, the NHS had sprung into action. A call from Jacqui to say that she had spoken to the medic and they were sending an ambulance. By the time I reached her house not long afterwards the ambulance had already arrived, and arrangements had been made for Fletch. The wonderful NHS at its best, and worth fighting for. Now hoping for the best.
