Pheasants

SUNDAY

Another cold day, but managed a 5 km run up to Norland Moor and back this morning at a pace of 6.17/km.  A lot slower than what I was running 12 months ago, but I am happy with it. 

I disturbed a couple of pheasants at the side of Rochdale Road whilst out running. Over the last couple of years, the number of pheasants seems to have grown and hardly a day goes by without seeing or hearing one in the garden.
