Would you believe it?

The car was filthy having travelled the country lanes to and from the pub. In the past I’ve taken cars to the local car wash. This would turn out to be expensive if I had to pay each time we travelled the lanes.

I’ve not washed a car for many a year. Wouldn’t you guess it? The day I chose it decided to hail. Undeterred, I carried on, giving up on the chamois. I might be doing this regularly.

We walked to see Doreen this afternoon. Cold but pleasant enough. Skies cleared now. Perhaps we’ll see Orion on the way home. We have participated in the Star Count twice, both disappointing. In Hampshire 11 stars, here in Kent 10 which is in the worst category of light pollution.
