New...to Me

I Love Macro! And even though I'm still able to hand hold for most of my shots, using natural light is tricky at the apertures needed to get as much of the tiny subject in focus as possible, and I'm not a fan of flash or tripods for close ups. So, I've been learning about in camera 'Focus Stacking'. My current 'favorite' camera is my OM1 paired with the 60mm macro lens. I spent the morning taking all kinds of shots using Focus Stacking. The camera will 'stack' up to 15 shots and the render a composite image.  It was crazy fun! My main blip is of a flax lily flower. (a 15 image composite). Do take a look at the *extra...a couple of Begonia flowers, also 'stacked'.
Wishing all of you a Peaceful Week! m
