Evening sunlight

A sunny day but what a cold wind!  A brief blip looking across the fields from the house to our neighbour's land on the hill. The two sprigs in the foreground are a flowering Rosemary.

Household chores, writing a couple of letters, tidying up, village shop, etc. The week-end had been busy so it was really good to have a day to myself.

We have been informed that the Aurora may be visible for a second night.

T looked in with the sad news that one of the beef cattle had to be killed as it had got its leg stuck in a gate a couple of days ago and now was trying to get up but would not put any weight on the leg, I guess it may have been broken, or a bone cracked.
