Curlew

Today's the day ................... to say Happy Birthday

When Dominic was here over the weekend, we did see a curlew down on the Dee Estuary and I did try to take a picture of it - but the light was not good and the photo was pretty rubbish.  I knew I had a much better one somewhere, and I did try to find it for him but to no avail.

I've found it now though and as it's his 8th birthday today, I thought I would blip it - just for him.  And as an extra, there's a picture received from his Mum and Dad this evening.  That's Dominic blowing out the candles on his birthday cake (and looking exactly like his Dad at the same age!) with a bit of help from Holly the dog ........................
