Avenue

Monday night football at Horsfall Stadium, with Bradford (Park Avenue) hosting Scarborough Athletic in a National League North fixture. A Yorkshire derby of sorts, but the eighty miles that separates the clubs stretches the concept of ‘local’.

Avenue had a much depleted team but had had an appeal to postpone the game denied.  The fact that the fixture had already been postponed twice due to the weather may have played some part. They will have been happy with 0-0 and a point against a team much higher than them in the table.

Lots of rain, so no chance to look for the northern lights.
