The Ugly Duckling and his Brother.

I never really understood that old fairy-tale. Why would anyone call a cygnet ugly and how could they mistake one for a duckling!
Took this at Stirling University this afternoon when these two (of nine!) came ashore briefly right at my feet under the watchful gaze of both parents.
We also spotted quite a few ducklings and several families of coots on our stroll round the loch.
Another misty, mizzly day today but there may be better tomorrow - no promises mind!
