“Goddess of Agave” on 7th Ave

Old downtown Tucson’s streets are a bit helter-skelter, and I easily got lost searching for Benjamin’s Plumbing Supply.

I gave a look-around Google Earth. She led me to this landmark location, the old Warehouse and Transfer Building. Built in 1918, 16,000 sq. ft and four stories high.

Since 2017 the old building’s attracted even more notice. Former graffiti artist turned mural artist, Rock Martinez painted this heavenly image of the “Goddess of Agave”.

She’s really something to see.
All four stories of her.
