Park Parade

Chilly morning dog walk.  Then headed to the market after breakfast.

The light was shining on Park Parade as I was heading into town.  When I first arrived here we rented the ground floor of No 7 which is probably just after the estate agent sign.  The owners, the Percivals were involved in music and had a flat at the Barbican in London.  They wanted someone to occupy the house while they were in London and travelling.  Mr P was a talented pianist and Mrs P was an artist.

We had four happy years there.  Friends, supermarket, Arts Cinema, market were a short walk away.  When we lived there, the park, Jesus Green was separated from the road by a low wall similar to the ones the houses have at the front.  We would often sit and have coffee on the wall.

It's been a chilly day with glimmers of sunshine.

Pasta for dinner with a black bean and veg sauce.

Pleasant evening everyone.
