Bookends

It is lovely to see the blossom on the trees and another sign that spring is well underway.

The blossom is bringing in the spring but we also saw a murmuration of starlings over our garden, which was very exciting. This is a winter phenomenon and March is probably the last month to see them.

Today therefore we have seen the start and end of two seasons - bookends, if you like.
