Patiently awaiting...

Today as I was waiting outside for the bus, I decided to eat my breakfast, as I was a bit early. It was a crumbly croissant- (a lot more 'well done' than I prefer), and as I stood and brushed the inevitable crumbs off my lap, I noticed an extremely brave bird hopped very close to me to pinch one.

I was quite proud of his bravery, until I saw that the few pastry flakes had instantly attracted a swirling mass of seagulls circling overhead!

I caught a picture of one sitting nicely, while I spent the rest of my waiting time hoping and praying that they wouldn't poop on me!
