Hogwarts Room

We met our friends Nicola and Stewart at the Vernon Arms in Hanbury this afternoon.  We had a window table next to the woodburner, very warm and comfortable. It was nice to catch up again, both the coffee and the beer served there is very acceptable. 

I briefly wrote abou the pub a little while back when we met N&S last time, then I only showed the outside of the building. Today's picture is taken in the oldest part of the pub,  Hogwarts Room, a small private dining room with original fireplace and very eccentric seats.  A big contrast to the rest of the modern pub and restaurant.
