A Stitch in Time

Heavy snow this morning and I just couldn't post another photo of it.  It is heavy and wet so I had to trudge out this morning and clear the satellite dish so the internet would work.  SO...this is a non-snow photo of a piece of my great grandmother's needlework, a Victorian crazy quilt design.  The silk and satin fabrics are shredded by time but the velvets are still whole as is her fancy stitching.  It is at least 150 years old and a miniature work of art.  It seems like winter is 150 years long too this year.
