"Sunset"

Rather fitting really...

Long story but having worked with the same company for 10 years, I discovered today that they are letting me go.  No discussion, no reason, no loyalty... Didn't see this coming !  Right up to yesterday, they were working with me as per normal and meanwhile behind my back they have hired somebody else.  The only thing I can think is that several months ago I asked for a rise (due to living costs etc.), they said they would think about it... well it would appear they have.  Lessons learnt..

Anyway... wounds licked and onwards and upwards to the next adventure...
