OT

The otters have been very remiss in showing themselves to me over the last 3 or 4 weeks. I've seen plenty of fresh tracks and other peeps have said they'd seen one, two or three at a time.

Toady, that changed. I was happy to see the otter way offshore just to have seen one so we sat down and waited to see if it would come inshore. After about 15 minutes it came inshore - properly inshore - right in front of us about 15 feet away on the rocks. The wind was all wrong so he knew something was up but wasn't panicked and slid off back into the water and off again. 

Couldn't have planned it better :)
