Saving Lemon Seeds

This is the start of the new cycle of citrus seedling production for next year.
Benidicto has gathered local lemons from which he will extract, wash, ferment, dry and save the seeds.
Then they will be planted outdoors and left for the first real leaves appear.
They are then potted in plastic bag containers, put in the greenhouses to grow. Later in the year they will be budded with an array of improved citrus and the new seedlings ail eventually be anything from tangerines to Satsumas!!
