Like many of the gravestones remaining in a derelict churchyard, it is impossible to read this gravestone.  In the summer the stones are almost hidden by vegetation and now the ground seems to be higher than it must have been previously.  I did notice one dated 1791 at a time when the church was still in existence until it was replaced by another about 200 metres away in 1824.  The skull and crossbones are fairly typical of the time although I don’t know the significance of the head on top
