Oh Please Mr Postman

Seen on a farm wall on our walk today!
Didn't like to peep in, in case we disturbed them.

Much better weather for our walk today.
Started at the beautiful village of Linton-in-Craven SEE HERE
There is a lovely sundial memorial on the village green, awarded in 1949 to "The prettiest village in the North", and it still is beautiful today.

We walked up through the hamlet of Thorpe , then up to the top of Cracoe Fell.
A higher climb than I thought!! see here
If you look on my blip folio you can see the view, which was amazing! (worth the climb. I think!)
Coming down was even steeper than going up!

When we got back to the village the sun was shining, and it was like summer!
Lots of families sat out on the grass, and children paddling in the little river.
The pub was doing a roaring trade!
MrC had two pints and I had a shandy. Never tasted so good!

Back home, pizzas for tea, and soak in a hot bath. Now feel much better!
