Fish Out Of Water

Seriously losing the will to live.

We had a meeting today (surprise!).  There were 4 of us in the meeting.  The other 3 related what they had done and what they planned to do.  You'd think I would have been next.

Wrong.

The conversation turned to "things".

And 20 minutes later my team leader said "Oh shit, we forgot about Pete" (I paraphrase slightly).

We're slipping back into the cycle of "It doesn't matter what I do, it doesn't matter what I say, I'm just going to be ignored anyway".

There was a meeting this afternoon about something where I am the acknowledged expert and the people at the meeting have no idea.  Guess who wasn't invited?

Motivation and Optimism - gone.

And what's that you say?  A 3 hour workshop on Monday morning - you shouldn't spoil me like that...
