Pottering around York today - a long time since we've visited the city. We're camping a couple of miles out, so caught a bus in and managed to dodge the showers. Rather good steaks and very friendly service this evening at the Whippet Inn on what we learned they call 'the dark side' of the river. Just when did York become a stag and hen party destination?
