Tulips in the sunshine

Very cold outside this morning but beautifully warm sitting indoors in the sunshine this afternoon, the tulips were enjoying the sunshine too!
I brought home my latest little pot from my ceramics class this morning fresh out of the kiln yesterday. It’s the smaller one in the thumbnail. It is made from black clay and glazed inside and on the top surface only. I was pleased with it until I filled it with water and I discovered it leaks, hence it has a tulip flower on it instead of tulips in water inside. It’s not the first vase I’ve made that leaks, I must be more thorough next time. The one behind I made a while ago and it is water tight.
