Greta Thunberg

The 9th and last day of the protests.

Greta Thunberg has spent 4 days together with the activists, and arrested twice.

This has been the most effective civil obedience action I have seen for a long time. The support the activists have got from the public and the media has been been touching to watch. And even the police have been holdning back, treating the activists with respect. There has been many smiles, laughter and empathy also amongst the police.

Today the protest moved from blocking the entrance of 10 ministries and thousands of Sami people and supporters gathered in front of the Parliament and ended in front of the Royal Palace.

"This is where this demonstration ends. For now. We are thousands of people who now demand that the government stops the ongoing human rights violations against the Fosen-sámi. Yesterday they finally admitted and apologized. Now they must act, and we will come back stronger, if they fail us again."

Civil obedience at it best. Now the Supreme Court decision must be respected and the government find good solution together with the Fosen-sámi affected by the wind farms that violated their human rights.
