Kens

Kens has been empty for some time - certainly before we moved here three years ago.

I did go in once, a long time ago.  Anniemay had a ‘special birthday’ and I wanted a newspaper from the year that she was born.  As I approached the counter to enquire, I realised that the man sitting behind it (Ken?) was asleep.  

I wandered around for a good 10 minutes, looking for what I wanted, but to no avail.  I could have bought a copy of the Dandy or the Beano from the relevant year, but not a newspaper.

It was probably just as well because he was still asleep when I when I left.
