With skies like solid concrete, and no particular plans, it seemed a good idea to have a cheerful photo of flowers in the garden before nightfall, just in case. In the end, I did break the boredom by walking to Barnardo's charity shop for the second day in a row (!) and am now the proud owner of a "new" handbag, two jigsaw puzzles, three books and a wall clock !  Plenty to play with this evening then.
