St Mary’s.

St Mary’s church is the parish church of Melton Mowbray, with parts of the tower dating back to 1170 and many parts dating between the 13- 15 century. It was left in a poor state after Victorian repair work and deemed not fit for purpose. By 2017 extensive work had finished and it is now in use again.
In extras is Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe first opened by John Dickinson in 1851 selling the now world famous hand raised Melton Mowbray pork pies.
