Hawaiian Birds

I'm on the Big Island, Hawaii staying on Hilo bay. The range of beautiful native birds here is amazing and although it's not my normal photographic subject I could not resist taking the opportunity to share an image of the birds right outside my hotel room just after sunrise today.

If you not what type of birds these are please let me know, they were very entertaining to watch as they went about their early morning rituals.
