Thames Clipper

After a bit of a lie-in this morning and a lovely brunch of sausage sandwiches from Borough Market, we walked to Canary Wharf and got the Thames Clipper to Embankment. Orla was very excited on the Clipper. In fact, yet again she was pretty hyper all day! She had a great time in Trafalgar Square chasing the pigeons around (video). She loved the fountains too.

We then walked up to Covent Garden, which was crazy busy. We had a snack in a bakery in the basement of Thomas Neal's (and Orla had some ice cream) then after another stop at Trafalgar Square (where Orla had more fun) we headed back to Embankment. Conor started crying so I put him in the ergobaby. There was some kind of protest going on outside Downing St. We cut off before then though, and nipped into Whitehall Gardens which was an oasis of calm! We got the clipper back and walked back to the flat in lovely evening sunshine. Orla was asleep almost as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Here are some more photos of today.
