Thought it was time imi tried to ride her bike without stabilisers , so we went down to the cricket ground and whilst em was mastering the correct bowling technique coached by her daddy, I tackled the calm and assertive approach to learning to ride.

Well, within the hour she had mastered it! Setting the pedal, pushing off, steering and stopping without falling....all done!!

Thought that might be enough achievements for one day, but no. Visited the local private schools summer (?) fete (hence face paint!), popped to see mum and dad and their foster dog (!), crammed in a bit of tutoring for the boy down the road and managed another coat of paint in the kitchen.
