At Russell Cotes museum

Which is in Bournemouth - actually on the coast path, and it overlooks the sea. I’m here to see my dear friend who is coming towards the end of her life. She has just got herself a mobility scooter (or buggy?) but she’s very much a new driver so going around a house full of priceless porcelain as well as paintings was a bit hair raising. She used to have a fast red sports car when I first knew her - and still has a similar approach:) She had a few pain free hours courtesy of morphine and we had a lovely time, including a visit to the cafe at the end. This is the stained glass ceiling of one of the main rooms. There is also a gallery above, you can see a bit of that. She was terribly tired after laughing and chatting for a while. Her partner and carer had two hours to relax and walk the dog on the beach in peace. Hoping to see her again in a couple of weeks, but I’m never quite sure.
