Penny Bicknell

Oast Quilters met in the sixth form common room instead of the the school hall and the limited space made for a much more friendly jolly atmosphere. Penny Bicknell had come to talk to us about group quilts which having had quite a lot of experience with these I was very interested.
The photo is of a top she made with her mother. Penny cut and her mother sewed by hand. Just the sort of quilt I like.
