cautiously optimistic

what i really want to say is 
VICTORY IS MINE!
but dare not until i actually have a brand new fully working Smeg in my kitchen.

today was the 3rd engineer visit insisted upon by Smeg.  
they sent two men this time.
it was all over in a flash - of course you're entitled to a new one they said.

now i have to wait for Smeg to tell me when I might expect a new cooker.
we're going to have a Chinese takeaway tonight in celebration.
