Looking Up

Just back from the allotment, the forecast wintry showers not having materialised. Having humphed 10 metres of roofing felt, a ladder and assorted tools up to the hut, I was still in two minds over whether a patch would do or if a complete re-felting was in order. That was until I tripped stepping over our rabbit fence, ended up in a chicken-wire tangled heap and skinned the knuckles on my ‘felting’ hand. A patch it was then and 9.5 metres of felt stacked in the (hopefully weather-proofed) hut.
I cut a big bunch of daffs to take home; this year they all seem to be coming up together.
