Tufted duck

Tim and I cleaned the flat top to bottom again this morning/early afternoon - then vacated it for the viewing.  We walked up to the pond - where we spotted this very cute tufted duck strutting its stuff - and then a meandering route into the village.  Went to Handmade Food for a coffee and cake, and sat outside to have them, and then headed back home.  A different kind of day! 

I ordered us a takeaway for dinner - we felt like we'd earned it after all the cleaning - and we watched a film: The Inside Man - very good.
