the noise. if anything annoys me in China, it's the noise. the busses themselves make a lot of it, but then the announcements come on top. going off twice between every two stations they are set so loud, that you hear them walking the pavement on the other side of the road! fearing about my hearing, eye bought acoustic noise reducing headphones and wear them always on the bus and in supermarkets.
