Sir Robert Alexander Watson-Watt

It was decidedly dreich this morning, so we abandoned plans to bag 3 Marilyns in Aberdeenshire. We instead went for a minor one in Angus that would be out of the cloud. On the way we bagged a few Turf zones including one in the main square in Brechin where there is a statue to Sir Robert Alexander Watson-Watt, a pioneer of Radar. The extra is a statue of Jeremy Eric of Bridgefoot, an Aberdeen Angus bull that was sold for 28,000 Guineas! in February 2000 at Perth Bull Sales. It stands at the edge of Alford.
