Victorian Arcade

Nostalgic trip to Halifax to visit the Piece Hall, an amazing relic of the 18th Century Northern Cloth Halls. The building is beautiful, and due for some renovation and upgrading later this year, so I was pleased to see it before the work starts.

We had a walk around the hall, the Victorian Borough Market and the site of the hospital where I worked - now converted to flats and houses! It was full on nostalgia.

This evening we had dinner at Fuji Hiro & went to the City Varieties Music Hall to see the Lumberjacks. After the show we wandered around the amazing Victorian Arcades for a while. The Victorians really know how to shop!
