Food for the birds

Another dull, damp day.

Had a good chat with my friend, then drove to K's and we went out for the day.  Started dry but rain, sleet showers later.  First we went to the Essex Wildlife Trust at Hanningfield for coffee, cake and watch the birds.  Then on to Perrywood Garden Centre.  Looked around the outside plants first as it was dry, lots of ideas and plants I want but too early to buy yet.  We then looked indoors, plants, seeds, equipment and things for birds, fish etc. 
Had a pannini for lunch and then drove home, K came in for a cuppa and we discussed the day.  After he left I made a pasta dish and soup with the left over chicken.  Realised I'd not taken a photo and decided on the bird seed at the feeder!
