Harbour Bar

First port of call for the intrepid duo, the famed Harbour Bar at Kirkcaldy. Actually, a friendly place with a great selection of real ales. Store that away for future reference, readers!
The crossing had been made in the haar, mostly motoring, but we managed enough of a sail to feel like real sailors.
After that it was on to Dysart where we stepped out to the Man I' The Rock, where an old guy was sitting playing accordion at the bar, quite brilliantly. We chatted to him later- he was (and is) Billy McGuire, all-Scotland traditional accordion champion in 1987. See the stuff you stumble on when you're hardy mariners. So, we stumbled back to the boat for a bit of the 15yo Singleton and the most excellent cake!
