Clivia

This is just one of the many plants growing in the Kibble Palace glasshouse in Glasgow Botanic Gardens.

I only know the name because there was a label stuck in the soil.
The plant is native to South Africa and is often called a Natal Lily or Bush Lily.

It was bitterly cold today particularly when out of the sun but it was a fine day for a walk in the Botanics.
