The Lane

THURSDAY

Another early morning wake-up alarm as the dishwasher engineer was due first thing. He arrived at 07:40 and spent 90 minutes fitting a new heater, pump and soap dispenser. Hopefully I can now put away the Fairy Liquid.

It's been snowing continuously but as the lane outside is on a bus route it is always well gritted. Today was also the first garden waste collection of the year and despite the wintry conditions the bin was collected on schedule.
