The snow arrives

The snow didn’t really get going until Darren was home from work. He had driven through a lot of heavy snow falling on the motorway but it wasn’t really affecting the road, it wasn’t until he got nearly home that the snow was settling on the roads.
By the time we went out for our walk there was a good few centimetres of snow on the paths. I like the snow, it’s quite good fun playing in it, Darren likes the snow, but only if he doesn’t have to drive in it, his car is not good in snow at all.
