Not Something You See Every Day

The word on the second like is "Institut" and not "Jnstitut".  So it's a Institute For (für = for)  "künstliche Augen".  Be interested to hear your guesses for what that means.

Künstliche = Artificial
Augen = Eyes

Apparently they make them in plastic or glass.

And your peace of mind can be reassured by knowing that they are a member of the Union of German Institutes for Artificial Eyes.  No Glass Eye Cowboys in Wiesbaden

I had an appointment this morning with my lung specialist.  Quite funny.  I got there a little early to discover that the entire team who are normally there were all sick (COVID naturally).  The only people there were my doctor and a pal of his who volunteered to lend a hand.

As always, I just caused no fuss.  Picked up a couple of prescriptions and offgebuggert.

A couple more errands in town and then I ended up at the Indian Supermarket in town centre.  Frozen Parathas, all the bags of Punjabi Tadka (a very spicy snack) and joy of joys - fresh samosas & proper pakoras - most pakoras I've had here are usually just onion rings with the occasional battered mushroom.  These have texture and are crying out for a little chilli sauce.  I am a very happy bunny.
