Eyes On the Prize

Our Bottlebrush trees are beginning to bloom. Their sweet nectar is a favorite with pollinators, hummingbirds, butterflies and apparently Squirrels! Sadly the squirrels don't just 'sip', they gnaw the blossom causing it to fall to the ground. At that point only the ants benefit.
