Gorse.

By heaven it was cold today.  No sun.  At Bassenthwaite Lake it was windy too.  A wild swimmer finished her swim saying it was warmer in the water. I said I would work on macro.  Finding what shelter I could I started my macro work.  To me there were more successful shots than before, but there were a few that didn't work out.  It was a dull day to say the least, so, that is a reason why I've chosen this bright gorse.  The extras show threads on a piece of rope, grass left on a bush after the lake was higher and an open gorse and one passed its best.  I'll keep working at macro.
Skiddaw couldn't be clearly seen today as snow fell.  At home there has been a few flakes and now it is rain.  See what tomorrow is like.
