We had some snow . . .

But the main thing today was poor old Biskit.

He was a bit off his food on Tuesday, and yesterday he was apparently completely off food, and treats, and was in some discomfort.  He had got Pam out of bed to be let out a couple of times in the night, and they had only got an alternative to his normal tummy medicine.

So today I had to pick up his normal medicine  from the vets (and paid for it . . . ).  Pam then asked me to try and get him seen anyway.  I managed to get an appointment in the afternoon, and gave him his medicine anyway when we got back to Rippingale.  Needless to say we were all very worried as he is never quite that bad.

His morning walk got cut short, not least due to the weather (he hates wet and windy) and he spent most of the rest of the morning feeling sorry for himself.  Of course he got all the right attention from Granny and Grampy.

Then suddenly at just gone eleven he perked up, got of the windowsill, went over to his food bowl which had an abandoned treat in it from Tuesday, took the treat out and ate it.  After that he got his pull and tried to start a game.  As the daughter had said, when his proper medicine works it works fast.  After that I gave him some breakfast and the main blip just had to be Biskit finishing off my porridge bowl after he had had finished his.

So vet appointment cancelled and one happy family and dog again.

We had some snow over night but first thing this morning all that was left was on the car.  If we had been snow free it would have been today’s blip, but this afternoon we did get a blizzard.  So I’ve put a collage together for the would have been blips at extra.  The car, the snow after we had got it, and two pigeons that sat on our back fence right through the blizzard.
