It Snowed

........ all night and into the morning, so there was several inches worth to clear from the car before setting off for the garage :-(
However, the overnight temperature had remained just marginally above zero so it was relatively easy to clear - it also meant that what had fallen was slowly starting to turn to slush, so the roads were not too treacherous and thankfully, my tyre has now been replaced ;-)

It is now constantly raining ( and forecast to continue overnight ) and a flood warning has been issued for the village - hopefully, all the work that’s been done to keep the brook clear will pay off and the people on the high street will be ok, fingers crossed.
